Dr. Abdelfattah earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Egyptʼs University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in 2001. Following this, she completed Internal medicine internship and residency programs at the Penn State University Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and George Washington University Hospital.
